Private Marcel Arsenault, Royal 22e Regiment. Born on 26 December 1919 in Riviere Bonaventure (QC) and died of wounds on 19 October 1943.
It is unknown how Marcel was wounded in action. He was wounded in action on th 6th of October 1943, but the location is not known. He was first transferred to the First Field Dressing Station and later on to the Second English Hospital in Catania where he died. He was initially buried at Catania War Cemetery and later reburied at Agira.
Marcel lived in Riviere Bonaventure with his parents, six brothers and one sister. He enlisted in the Canadian Army on the 18th of June 1940 in Québec City.
