Brother of Kenneth A. Coxe who died on December 6, 1944 while serving with the Royal Regiment of Canada. He is buried at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery.

Corporal Wilbert Alexander "Pinky" Coxe, Lorne Scots (Peel Dufferin and Halton Regiment). Born on the 4th of December 1919 in Halton, Ontario and killed in action on the 22nd of July 1943.
The Lorne Scots were the 1st Canadian Division Defence and Employment Platoon. Wilbert was killed in action near Leonforte on the 22nd of July.
Wilbert had three brothers who all served overseas in the Canadian Armed Forces. His brother Kenneth Albert was killed in action on the 6th of December 1944 and is buried at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, The Netherlands. He served in the Royal Regiment of Canada. Beside his three brothers he had four sisters and his parents who lived in Halton. Wilbert enlisted on the 1st of July 1940 in Milton, Ontario.
