Son of George Ashely-Pryce of Vancouver, British Columbia.
Born: July 26, 1918 Wallesey, United Kingdom
Enlistment: June 5, 1940 Regina, Saskatchewan

Private John Ashley-Pryce, Royal Canadian Army Service Corps. Born on the 26th of July 1918 in Wallasey, Cheshire and killed in action on the 22nd of July 1943.
There is no exact spot where John was buried in a field grave, but looking at the date of his death it was most likely in the Leonforte or Assoro area.
John was married to Beatrice May Chillingworth of Burwash Common, Sussex, England. She had four children from an earlier marriage and she went overseas to live with her in-laws in Virden (MB). In 1946 she remarried and got the name Mackclain and lived in Eburne (BC).
John was serving in the non permanent Militia with the 12th Manitoba Dragoons in 1940 and enlisted on June 5th, 1940 in Regina (SK).
