Born 8 Gen 1920, Winnipeg, Greater Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
Son of Herbert Morley Currie and Vera Irene Currie, of Winnipeg, Manitoba;
Husband of Eileen Claudia Currie, of Winnipeg.

Lance Corporal Cecil Harvey Currie, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. Born on the 8th of January 1920 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and killed in action on the 22nd of July 1943. Cecil was killed in action in Leonforte during the heavy streetfights which took place there between the German and Italian defenders and the Princess Pats and Loyal Eddies.
Cecil married his high school sweet heart Eileen Claudia Currie in April 1940 and one month later he heard that she was pregnant.
Together they got a son, Daniel Harvey, and they lived in St Vital, Manitoba. Cecil's parents lived in Winnipeg and he was their only child.
He enlisted on 4th of January 1940 in Winnipeg
