It is very Nice to see and hear of these names again. I am 94 years old now and I was married to Basil before his very sad death. I remember so many happy times together and still think and remember him every day. If anyone would like to share any of these cherished memories please contact me via my son on artlab@callnetuk.com

Uncle Bill died ten years before I was born. I have some photographs of him. He seems a very relaxed and happy man. He must also have been very brave.

Bill, as the family called you, I was only five years old when you picked me up at your brother Leslie\'s wedding,the bride was my aunt Mary, tickled me, and gave me a shilling! I always looked forward to the occasions I\'d see you at family events, and was very impressed with your moustache!. And I was at my grandmother\'s house in 1943 when the phone rang, and Leslie told me that you had been killed and I was to tell the womenfolk who were out shopping. I\'ll never forget your smile!
