Photograph of Thomas Pallas taken in 1940 Following his evacuation from France where he won a Military Medal On 21st May 1940 near Arras Sgt Pallas showed conspicuous courage and powers of leadership gaining the objectivegiven to his platoon although his men were very tired and shaken.In the course of this operation he assisted in the capture of a building containing 25 Germans.
