Son of James McNeice McComish and Annie McComish, of Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Jim McNeice McComish was my Great Uncle, the following are memoriums printed in the Belfast telegraph on the 5th anniversary of his death;

"In proud and loving memory of my dear son Rfl man Jim McComish, 1st LIR 2nd RUR killed in action in Sicily 18 July 1943. Always remembered by his loving father and brother Willie, 25 Spencer Street. Far from his native land he sleeps."

"In proud and loving memory of my dear Brother, Rfl man Jim McComish, 1st LIR 2nd RUR, killed in action in Sicily 18 July 1943. Always remembered by his loving brother and sister in law, nephews and neice, 22 Gt Georges St Belfast. And his friends, Mrs Sherman and Mrs Moore. He fought the good fight"
