His brother Frederick Augustus Norton was killed March 1943 in North Africa.

I am a military historian with a special interest in the Italian campaign as my great uncle Alfred Heath is buried at Catania War Cemetery. He was killed in the fighting in 1943. He was serving with the Northumberalnd Fusiliers.
